Does this work for Google?
Google doesn't participate in IndexNow. They have their own push system (the Indexing API), but it only supports job postings and livestream structured data. For everything else, Google still relies on its own crawler.
Pingmap submits to the IndexNow endpoint, which covers Bing, Yandex, Naver, Seznam, and other participating engines.
How fast will my pages appear in search results after submission?
Submission through IndexNow tells engines to crawl your page. It doesn't guarantee indexing. The engine still decides whether to add your page to its index, and when.
In practice, Bing tends to crawl and index IndexNow submissions within hours, sometimes minutes. Yandex is similarly fast. Results vary based on your domain's authority and the content of the page.
What if my sitemap has thousands of URLs?
Pingmap handles large sitemaps. On the first poll, all discovered URLs are submitted to IndexNow. After that, only new and changed URLs are submitted on each cycle. There's no hard cap on sitemap size.
Does Pingmap store my page content?
No. Pingmap only reads your sitemap XML. It stores URLs, their <lastmod> timestamps, and poll metadata. It never fetches or stores the actual content of your pages.
What happens if my sitemap is temporarily unavailable?
If a poll fails to fetch your sitemap (network error, server error, timeout), Pingmap logs the failure and retries on the next scheduled poll. It doesn't submit anything for that cycle. The previous snapshot is preserved and used for the next successful diff.
Can I use Pingmap with multiple sites?
Yes. You can add as many sites as your plan allows. Each site has its own sitemap URL, poll interval, and submission history.
What's the difference between the free plan and paid?
The free plan lets you run on-demand polls manually from the dashboard. Paid plans enable automatic polling on a schedule, with shorter intervals available at higher tiers.
How do I cancel?
You can cancel from the billing page in your dashboard. Your subscription ends at the end of the current billing period. Your sites and their poll history stay accessible until then.
